Having worked predominantly with silver and items of Scottish connection Colin has been with Lyon & Turnbull since 2005. Working within the company, he has been involved in the dispersal of many important items and collections and created the market leading sales in Scottish Silver & Accessories and Jacobite and Stuart Works of Art.
A member of the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland and the Incorporation of Goldsmiths of the City of Edinburgh his personal passion is with Scottish silver and related accessories. Colin has worked closely with many private collectors and institutions and has been involved in various recent exhibitions and publications, including Aberdeen Art Gallery & Museums Silver the Aberdeen Story and the National Museums of Scotland Silver: Made in Scotland.
