In 2015, to mark the 300th anniversary of the 1715 Jacobite Uprising, Lyon & Turnbull proudly held its inaugural Jacobite auction - a landmark sale dedicated to the rich artistic and cultural legacy of the Jacobite movement.
This specialist event brought together a remarkable cross-section of the decorative arts, fine silver, antique arms, rare manuscripts, and portraiture that were so intrinsically tied to the cause and its legacy.
