Footnote
Park's floral still lifes, rendered in creamy whites and rich reds against a shadowy ground, are instantly recognisable. In his early career he was based in Glasgow, and shared a studio with ‘Glasgow Boys’ James Kay and David Gauld. Later in life he relocated to Kilmarnock.
