Edinburgh, c.1850s. 8vo (20.9 x 13.3cm), 49 photographs consisting of 20 salted paper prints, average size 11 x 9cm, and 29 albumen prints, averaging 16 x 12cm, all loosely inserted in 19th-century blue cloth bound album with blank leaves of wove paper, no watermark visible, some later pencil captions to mounts and back of images, album lacking backstrip, lower cover detached
