Mehmed Bayazidzade was a follower of the famous Ottoman court calligrapher Hafiz Osman Efendi (d. 1689). An 18th century hilye panel almost certainly by the same individual, signed “Mehmed Bayazid Dede”, is in the Cengiz Cetindogan Collection, Istanbul.
