gouache heighted in gold on paper, with two registers, above depicting Dasaratha, ruler of Ayodhya and father of Rama, seated under an umbrella, a priest is shown smearing his forehead amongst a line of worshippers against a red ground, the lower register depicts a dancing girl accompanied by musicians against a blue ground, mounted, framed and glazed
