carved bean tree wood, trioda gum and sinew, widest at the grip, with a narrowed bound section below, designed to accommodate the first finger and thumb for securely grasping the spear, with the remnants of a late 19th - early 20th century label reading “WAGR, Booked Parcel, Fremantle”, raised on a bespoke mount
