Note: Albert Louden was discovered in 1979 by Victor Musgrave, the renowned art dealer and curator, also known for introducing the work of Yves Klein, Bridget Riley, and a number of Fluxus and Art Brut artists to the British public. Musgrave included Louden in the landmark Outsiders show at the Hayward Gallery, and, in 1985, Louden had a sold-out show at the Serpentine Gallery. Thoughout his career, Louden has exhibited internationally, and his works are held in many public and private collections in Britain and around the world, including the American Visionary Art Museum in Baltimore, the Arts Council of Great Britain, the Museum of American Folk Art in New York, and the Collection l’Art Brut in Lausanne, Switzerland.
