Description
Early 19th-century, 4to album, half calf, marbled sides (covers detached), the squib possibly c.1700, titled ‘The Quakers’ Assossiacon dropt into ye House of Commons', written in the form of a mock-prayer, with every line rhyming -ion, 32 lines, on single sheet of laid paper pasted to album leaf, the album containing approx. 35 other manuscript items, 18th and early 19th century, and numerous newspaper cuttings, 18th-century items including ‘A New Song Set by Comte de St. Germain', ‘Tis Pitty Myrtilla you shou’d be a Wife' by ‘Humdrum', etc.
