Provenance
From a private estate in Aberdeenshire, having passed from the estate of the late Margaret Rhodes (1880-1974) of Woodstock, Vermont, USA. Her father, Percival Clement (1846-1927), Governor of Vermont in the early 20th Century, was an avid collector and it is likely to have been acquired by him.
