Provenance
Private English collection, Yorkshire. Inherited from the current owner's grandfather, Arthur Henry Bliss Hume, who was a surveyor in the Royal Engineers in Beijing during 1901/1902, acquired then. Illustrated here is an image of these paintings on the wall of his bungalow in Dehra Dun, India, where he later served. Thence by direct descent.
