Description
the top set within the wide rectangular frame carved with a continuous border of keyfret above a narrow recessed lip and short waist finely carved in shallow relief with small flowers borne on archaistic scrolls, the waist bordered below by pendant lotus lappets above an apron elaborately carved with pairs of archaistic kuilong dragons flanking large flowerheads in full bloom, a similar design repeated on the upper portion of the legs and the openwork spandrels, the legs terminating in thick, scroll-form feet
