James McNaught is an Associate Director and Head of Business Development for the UK.
James is both a Property (Surveying) and Art History Graduate from the University of Aberdeen with experience in professional valuation services and detailed knowledge in all aspects of the Fine and Decorative Arts.
He oversees all aspects of business development, creating and maintaining our relationships and partnerships across the UK.
James has a passion for the history of collecting and more particularly The History of Collecting. His MLItt dissertation, ‘The McInnes Collection' was written on a mercantile collector in the early 20th century - William McInnes (1868-1944). James has lectured widely on this subject and is working towards further publications.
James works closely with both professional contacts and private clients across the UK to deliver Lyon & Turnbull’s service.
